I provide virtual telehealth sessions, or sessions via phone, through a HIPAA-secure platform. All clients are required to be physically in the state of California for telehealth sessions, per state policies regarding telehealth.

Scheduling
Sessions are typically scheduled once per week for 50 minutes. If you're looking to schedule less often than once per week, contact me and we can discuss this in more detail.

Fees and Insurance
I am in-network with the following insurance companies - Aetna, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross and Optum (including United). I also accept Optum EAP (Employee Assistance Program) coverage; EAP services are provided by your employer and have no cost for you to access. However there is typically a set number of fees covered in a particular year (for example, 6 sessions per calendar year). Note: Optum insurance is different from Optum EAP coverage so please contact your employer to learn more about your EAP coverage.
You will be responsible for any deductible/co-payment at the time of session. Please contact me to verify insurance and complete an eligibility check. My out-of-network fee is $175 per 50-minute session although most insurance companies will likely reimburse you for part of this payment; I encourage you to reach out to inquire what your out-of-network coverage is.

Payments are easily done through a secure online platform, and a superbill can be provided upon request.
Cancellation Policy
Late cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or non-attendance will result in a $49 fee, unless extreme extenuating circumstances occur. If we are able to reschedule within the same week, I can typically waive this fee.
